Lee was found dead on Tuesday, Feb. 25, after going missing since January, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. Rahim Johnson, who was charged with her murder, was living with Lee and was the last person to see her alive before she was reported missing, authorities said.

"Victoria's...laugh could fill any space she was in," wrote Gwenneth Kay, who organized a fundraiser for Lee's family.

As of Friday, March 7, the fundraiser has raised more than $10,000.

Kay said Lee had a passion for cooking, with dreams of being a successful business owner and a mother.

"She loved to sing and had a warm, soulful voice," Kay said.

Survivors include Lee's parents, Allison and Victor and her siblings.

"Victoria called her close friends and family everyday to check in on them. She cared immensely and loved loudly," Kay said. "The loss of Victoria is something that will never be able to be measured. Victoria, you are forever missed. Forever loved. Forever remembered."
